Most and Least Favorite

My most favorite thing about the class would have to be the group work. I felt that this was nice to actually see other classmates and interact with them. This was a great way to use our new communicating skills and to communicate with one another on what we have learned. However I wished that there would have been different groups each time because it would have been nice to meet most of the class as well.  My least favorite thing about this class would be the blogging. Don’t get me wrong blogging was extremely useful, but I wish that there was not time limit between each blog because this semester I had a really tight schedule and it was hard to keep them 12 hours apart, but I managed to do so. Also the one thing that was not my favorite would be the timed test because I felt rushed when I am taking it. It would be awesome to have had more time on the test. But overall I enjoyed this class a lot.

  1. I agree with you on the group projects. Although I thought they were very fun at times and they did lead to some awesome communications and interactions with some amazing people, the hardest part was finding time that worked for every person in the group to meet. Every person in the group had work and school and family emergencies that they had to deal with and they all conflicted with each other, which made it hard to meet as a group. Even though it was frustrating at times I feel that meeting in groups did help a lot with the small group communication skills.

  2. Yes, the time limit on some of the tests were really frightening to see because it really gave the reality of how quickly one had to act on answering all of the questions, as well as, develop a brief strategy on how long to take on each one. It probably would have been exciting to have different groups the second round so all of us could have met different people, I do agree on that. It would've allowed us to use different concepts and what not for the next set of group members in making those friendships, as we are taking a group decision class. It was fun getting to know the current group members even more, too. Great post! :)

  3. I agree with you. I enjoyed the group work as well. It was interesting working in groups, especially since we don’t have a regular class where the students see each other every week. It was fun working and interacting with others to try and get the group assignments. With the group assignments we apply what we learned online and try to put it in effect. If successful, your group will get a good grade on their assignment. Blogging was probably my least favorite too. It was hard to keep up with often, and I forgot to do my blogs a few times. Overall I liked the class.
