For the advertisement i decided to use a perfume ad. This is advertisement for the Perfume Manora. It states that
" a heady fragrance that stuns the sense.
Experience its transforming powers..."
In the text it states that there are three choices we can make in believing a claim or not.
1.accept the claim is true
2.reject the claim is false
3.suspend judgement
I would not accept this claim to be true because I actually collect perfume bottles and i have never been stunned or transformed for any of the perfumes i own. Perfumes do not have the powers to do any of this. I can reject the claim because i have had experience with this being false. I have never had any perfume with these kinds of mystical powers. I can however suspend judgement by evaluating the argument. This argument is not strong or valid it is rather weak and invalid. These argument can be false.

Seems like a good saying for an axe commercial. LOL Anyway, I agree with you. There is no way to accept this claim to be true because no perfume nor cologne can have the power to transform or to do perform any type of powers. I would also reject this claim because of personal experience of not transforming to anything by using a cologne. The argument is not valid or strong. And there is no way to repair this even if we spend our entire life trying to fix it.
People when seeing claims especially in advertisements should know that they should not believe anything based on what other people say, but on your own experience and knowledge. It is common sense that perfumes or colognes do not have special powers. All advertisements do is try attract more customers with gimmics such as special powers in your advertisement. In my opinion I would reject this claim as well with my personal experience with perfumes and colognes, it did not attract me to someone like it is shown on Axe commericials. Also all perfumes and colognes do is make people smell good. Many people would buy into this advertisement and actually buy the perfume because it's an advertisement on the internet so the product has to be popular. People should be able to accept or rejct claims based on thier own experiences or knowledge.
